How do I export all my documents at once?

Download all of your FormSwift documents at once as a single ZIP file — forms, tax documents, edited PDFs, and faxes.

Note: Only available to users with paid access.

How to start an export

1. Log in to your FormSwift account and go to your My Account page.

2. Find the Export All Documents section and click Export All Documents.

3. You'll see a progress status on the page. No need to do anything else at this point.

How to download your export

When your export is ready:

1. We'll email you when it's ready.

2. Log in to your account and go to your My Account page.

3. In the Export All Documents section, click the Download Export button to download your ZIP file.

Note: The email will link you to your My Account page, but you'll need to be logged in to download the file.

How long does it take?

Exports run in the background, so you're free to close the page or log out. Most exports finish within a few hours. If yours hasn't arrived after 24 hours, contact support and we'll look into it.

You can only run one export at a time.

What's included in the export

Your export includes all documents in your account:

  • Forms — Any documents you created using FormSwift's form templates
  • Tax documents — W-2s, 1099s, and other tax forms
  • Edited PDFs — PDFs you uploaded and edited using the PDF editor
  • Faxes — Both sent and received faxes

All documents are exported as PDF files.

How long is my export available?

Your download stays available for 14 days. After that, the file is automatically deleted. If you need it again, you can request a new export.

Can I cancel an export?

Yes. While your export is processing, you'll see a Cancel Export button on your My Account page. Click it to cancel the current export. You can start a new one anytime.
