Form I-94

Form l-94, Arrival / Departure Form, is used by the US Customs and Borders Protection. It must be completed by certain people seeking to enter or leave the United States. It is not completed by US citizens, returning permanent residents, Canadians, or individuals with a US visa.

Form I-94: What Is It?

A Form I-94 will be used by the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Customs and Borders Protection department. The form is known as an Arrival/Departure Form. It needs to be completed by certain individuals who are entering or leaving the United States. This does not include U.S. citizens, returning residents, Canadian visitors, or people with approved visas.

This form is used by individuals who are arriving by land. Visitors arriving from air or sea may not need to use this form. To complete this form, personal information is needed. This includes the traveler’s full name, country of citizenship, passport information, and the address of where they will be staying while in the United States.
